CareerNOW Program at FHS
& application form link:
The CareerNOW process begins with a general information meeting let by an FHS counselor at the start of the Spring scheduling process. At that time, forms are available to students with deadlines noted on the form. Students must read every word on the form, LINKED BELOW, follow directions exactly, and be sure to staple all of the attachments to the form and turn it in on or before the deadline posted on the form.
NOTE: If you are accepted into a program for college credit, and then end up needing to drop a college class after enrolling for college credit, YOU must fill out the drop form for the specific college/university prior to the drop deadline listed in your paperwork copies or the institution's website; see Ms. Andrea Richardson. You may drop the college portion (but you still have to pay once you enroll; also not covered by any scholarship) and keep the high school portion, however if you drop the high school portion and forget to drop the college portion, then you will receive an "F" on your college transcript. DUAL credit means DUAL paperwork in DUAL systems completed by the STUDENT.
